Admission Open for Master of Information Technology (MIT) - Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology has published the entrance examination for the newly launched program Master of Information Technology in the central department and constituent campuses for the academic year 2079.

Eligibility

The candidates who have passed Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT), Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering and in Computer and Electronics, Bachelor of Information Management, Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Application of their equivalent from Tribhuvan University or a university recognized by Tribhuvan University and secured at least second division or minimum 2.00 CGPA.

• Application Deadline with normal fee: Chaitra 15, 2079 (March 29, 2023)
• Application Deadline with late fee: Chaitra 22, 2079 (April 05, 2023)
• Application Fee: NPR 2000
• Entrance Exam Date and Time: Chaitra 25, 2079 (April 08, 2023); 12:30 to 2:30 PM.

Entrance Examination 

The total marks for the entrance examination will be 100. The questions will be objective, and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked from B.Sc or equivalent level from the related subjects. Students must secure at least 35% marks to pass the entrance examination.
