Closed St. Xavier's School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, has announced that admissions are open for Class 1 for the academic session 2083.
- Online form distribution date: Chaitra 02, 2082, 8:00 AM to Chaitra 04, 2082, 4:00 PM (March 16, 17 & 18, 2026)
- Physical presence for form distribution date: Chaitra 4, 2082 (March 18, 2026); Time: From 9 AM to 12 PM
- Form Collection Date: Chaitra 04, 2082 (March 18, 2026); Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Document submission and screening date:
- Chaitra 06, 2082 (March 20, 2026), From 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM
- Chaitra 07, 2082 (March 21, 2026) From 8:00 AM to 3 PM
Random draw date: Chaitra 13, 2082 (March 27, 2026)
The random draw will be broadcast live on national television.
Procedure:
- Students who have submitted documents will be eligible for the random draw.
- Random draw will be conducted only in the presence of the assigned groups of students.
- The student selection ratio will be 6:4 (60% male, 40% female). This ratio will be maintained within each group.
- The student must be between 5 years 6 months and 6 years 6 months of age as of Baisakh 1, 2083 B.S.
- Students without proper age verification, adequate documentation, or those with suspicious documents or incomplete forms filled in the previous year will not be included in the selection process.
- Students can participate in only one group and submit only one application.
- The random draw (RANDOM DRAW) will be conducted on the scheduled date and location, with representatives from the local government, school management committee, and teachers-parents association invited, and it will be broadcast live.
- After preparing the selection list according to the criteria (175 seats), a waiting list of 5/5 students from the general group will be published through the same random draw.
