Kathmandu University School of Engineering, Dhulikhel opens applications for 5 positions in Masters by Research, and 2 positions in PhD studies program.

The Master's, PhD, and double degree PhD are funded by the NORHED II project under Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). NORHED II is committed to producing well-qualified research graduates to contribute to the Hydro Energy workforce through the Development of Hydropower Professionals (Hydro-Himalaya) at Kathmandu University. The project aims to provide numerous degrees during the period of six years.

Eligibility

Candidates are required to have cleared Bachelor in Engineering with a CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent. (For MS by Research))
Candidates are required to have cleared a Master's in Engineering with a B grade with a CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent. (For Single degree PhD)
Candidates are required to have cleared a Master's in Engineering, Applicant's Master's degree must have at least 1 semester of independent thesis load (For Double degree PhD)
Proficiency in the English language for all levels.
