Scriptwriters organize the plot, dialogue, and sequencing of dramas or documentaries. Depending on the type of production, they also adapt or modify original stories, ideas, or published works.
Main Responsibilities
- Review the entire story, and research the background and setting of the story.
- Develop the style of the script based on discussions with the director and other team members.
- Convert the story into a script, create scenes, and write dialogues for various characters.
- Test/review the script.
- Present the final version for production.
