JJanata Aadarsh Bahumukhi Campus, a constituent campus of Purbanchal University, has been providing quality education for over two decades. Located at Pushpalal Chowk in Biratnagar—the capital of Koshi Province and a major city in eastern Nepal—the campus has built a strong academic presence.
Academic Programs
The campus offers specialized programs in Education and Sociology.
- In Education:
- It conducts both a One-Year B.Ed. and a Four-Year B.Ed. program. The Four-Year B.Ed. includes a specialization in Special Needs Education, supporting the constitutional goal of making education accessible to all.
- It also offers a Two-Year M.Ed. program at the postgraduate level.
- In Sociology:
- At the undergraduate level, it offers a Bachelor in Social Work (B.S.W.).
- At the postgraduate level, it offers a Master in Social Work (M.S.W.), launched to address the shortage of skilled professionals through practical training.
- It also offers an M.Sc. in Population and Rural Development (M.Sc. P.R.D.) through its Population and Development Centre, focusing on the critical role of demography in national development, particularly in rural areas.
Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus also aims at providing academic courses like post-graduate diploma, master of philosophy, and doctor of philosophy in the long run. It also attempts in fulfiling the research needs and short term training in the area of population and development.
