Maharshi Law College, affiliated with Purbanchal University, Nepal, is dedicated to delivering high-quality legal education, preparing students for impactful careers in the legal field. The institution aims to cultivate a new generation of legal thinkers, professionals, and leaders equipped to address the evolving demands of modern law and justice systems, both within Nepal and internationally.
Currently, the college provides a comprehensive 5-year integrated BA LLB program, a dual-degree course encompassing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). This undergraduate program is meticulously designed to establish a strong academic foundation while fostering practical legal skills. Through a well-structured curriculum, students acquire an in-depth understanding of legal reasoning, constitutional principles, human rights, criminal and civil law, and international legal systems. They also develop critical thinking, logical argumentation, and confident presentation skills—abilities crucial for success in any legal profession.
In the near future, Maharshi Law College plans to introduce a Master of Laws (LLM) program, in collaboration with The University of Law, a globally recognized institution in legal education. The LLM program is designed to offer advanced legal knowledge and specialization opportunities for graduates seeking to deepen their expertise or pursue academic and research careers.
