The Faculty of Humanities and Law at Rajarshi Janak University launched the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program in 2025 AD. Initially offered at the University Campus, one of its renowned constituent campuses, the program has a limited intake of just 20 students to ensure a focused learning environment.
The MCA program aims to equip students with specialized knowledge in computer science and its practical applications. It blends theoretical concepts with hands-on skills, preparing graduates for diverse roles in the IT sector. The curriculum includes core areas such as programming, software development, database management, networking, and web technologies.
Eligibility
Students must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following programs with a minimum of second division or equivalent grade from a recognized institution:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
- Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT)
- Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
- Bachelor of Education in Information and Communication Technology (BEd. ICT/BICT)
- Or Bachelor of any other Equivalent Subjects
