  • Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (both days)

The workshop aims to bridge the gap between ideas and practical execution, offering hands-on learning and expert mentorship for students, aspiring founders, and early-stage entrepreneurs.

What to Expect:

  • Action-Oriented Format: Structured sessions covering business modeling, legal foundations, fundraising, MVP (Minimum Viable Product) development, growth strategies, and pitching.
  • Guidance & Mentorship: Direct access to experienced mentors and startup experts.
  • Mission Alignment: Supports the Hult Prize goal of empowering youth-led ventures to create sustainable and scalable social impact.

This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to develop, refine, and launch their startup ideas in a supportive, practical learning environment.

Day One: Igniting Startup Foundations

The first day, themed “Ignite: Spark Your Startup,” will focus on helping participants transform raw ideas into structured, viable startup concepts.

The opening session, “Canvas to Cash: Crafting the Revenue Model,” will be led by Shreeya Giri, Founder and Managing Director of Happy Minds. A Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia (Social Impact) 2024 honoree, Shreeya is a leading social entrepreneur working to make mental healthcare accessible across Nepal. Drawing from her experience building a mission-driven digital platform, she will guide participants on developing sustainable revenue models, aligning impact with financial viability, and defining measurable impact metrics.

Following this, Imita Subedi, Corporate Lawyer and Legal Associate at Khatapana, will conduct the session “Legal Launchpad: Set Up Your Business Right.” With professional experience in corporate registration, compliance, and statutory licensing, including prior work at the Kathmandu District Court, she will provide founders with clarity on company registration in Nepal, PAN/VAT setup, founders’ agreements, and post-registration compliance—critical steps for building legally sound startups.

The final session of Day One, “Capital & Growth: Mastering Startup Fundraising,” will be led by Niharika Chapagain, who works in investment analysis at Dolma Impact Fund, an impact-focused private equity fund. With a strong background in financial modeling, due diligence, and market research, she will offer an investor’s perspective on how venture capital and private equity firms evaluate startups. Participants will gain practical insights into building effective pitch decks, creating realistic financial projections, and designing data-driven funding strategies.

Day Two: Accelerating Scale and Impact

The second day, themed “Accelerate: Scale Your Impact,” will shift focus toward execution, growth, and communication.

The day will begin with “From Concept to Customer: MVP Development,” facilitated by Ram Sharma Bhattarai, AI entrepreneur and Director of Jyra Soft. With over 12 years of experience delivering more than 300 global technology projects for Fortune 500 companies, and as an Executive Member of the AI Association of Nepal, Ram will share practical approaches to building MVPs, leveraging technology and AI, and validating products with real users. He is widely recognized for promoting open mentorship and democratizing access to AI education in Nepal.

Next, Shaurab Lohani, a highly sought-after corporate soft-skills trainer, leadership speaker, business consultant, and career performance coach, will lead the session “Growth Engine: Sales & Marketing.” With over a decade of experience in communication training, public speaking, and leadership development—and currently serving as Country Representative for Trine University—he will focus on sales communication, customer engagement, persuasive storytelling, and building trust-driven growth strategies. His work with platforms such as the Kathmandu School of Speaking and features on storytelling channels have made him a respected voice in professional development.

The workshop will conclude with “Startup Pitch: Tell Your Story, Win the Room,” led by Snehalata R. Thapa, Mrs. Nepal International 2019 (2nd Runner Up), entrepreneur, certified mentor, and philanthropist. With strong expertise in public speaking, youth empowerment, and personal development, and as the driving force behind Sparkle Foundation and Sparkle Kids Academy, she will mentor participants on pitch confidence, presentation presence, and storytelling. The session will feature live team pitches, constructive feedback, best-pitch recognition, and certificate distribution.

Throughout the two days, participants will engage in interactive exercises, team-based work, live feedback sessions, and networking opportunities with speakers and mentors. Each session is designed to produce tangible outputs—from business models and legal roadmaps to MVP plans, marketing strategies, and investor-ready pitch frameworks.

With limited seats available, the “From Idea to Market” workshop aims to equip participants not only with knowledge, but with clarity, confidence, and actionable tools to move their startup ideas forward.
