Institutional School Bodies Announce School Reopening
Degrees Offered in Nepal

Following a period of national unrest, a coalition of institutional educational organizations has issued a joint statement announcing the gradual reopening of schools and calling for calm. The announcement comes in the wake of recent protests that resulted in significant loss of life and property damage, disrupting regular school attendance for countless students.

The press release expressed sorrow over the tragic events, which stemmed from a youth-led movement for good governance and an end to corruption. It acknowledged the state's failure to manage the demonstrations, which led to casualties among students, police, and civilians, as well as extensive financial and property damage.

The statement's signatories, which include prominent figures from various institutional organizations such as HISSAN, PABSON, NPABSON, etc, called for appropriate compensation for the families of the deceased and full medical care for the injured. They also committed to providing scholarships for students affected by the violence.

With an interim government now in place and local curfews being lifted, the leaders expressed optimism about a return to stability. They appealed to all members of the community-parents, teachers, and students-to act with restraint and help restore peace.

In a move to prioritize children's right to education, schools will begin to reopen on a staggered basis starting tomorrow, Bhadra 29, 2082, in coordination with local authorities.
