Candidates who were included in the merit list of the open category of various academic programs and had selected their preferred institutions and programs through the online priority system as per the notice published on 2082/12/03 have now been allocated seats.
The allocation has been done through a computer-based online matching system in accordance with the Integrated Entrance Examination and Student Admission Procedure (First Amendment), 2079. Accordingly, the first phase admission list for the open category and the re-matching schedule have been released.
Admission Schedule:
First Admission Open: From 10:00 AM, Chaitra 18, 2082
First Admission Close: Until 3:00 PM, Chaitra 20, 2082
Terms and Procedures for the First Phase of Matching and Admission
- Candidates included in the admission list must complete their enrollment at the respective university/institution within the date and time specified in the admission schedule (Section ‘A’) of this notice.
- Candidates who were admitted under government/free quotas in previous years have been removed from the merit list while publishing the admission list. However, those who have cleared any determined dues as per prevailing laws have been included in the first round of open matching.
- Candidates who were previously admitted under paid categories have also been removed from the merit list. However, those whose admissions have been officially canceled by the respective university/institution have been included in the first round of open matching.
- Candidates who have obtained a foreign study eligibility letter or have been nominated for foreign scholarships have been excluded from the matching list.
- Candidates selected for admission through matching must submit original copies of all documents that were submitted along with the application form at the time of admission to the respective university/institution/board.
- After enrollment, candidates must comply with the code of conduct of the respective university/institution.
- Candidates enrolling under the NBMS-S program must contact the office of the Medical Education Commission, National Board of Medical Specialties, and fulfill the conditions mentioned in the agreement.
- If a candidate is matched and recommended for admission in more than one program, they must enroll in only one academic program within the specified date and time. Once enrolled in one program, the candidate will be removed from the merit list of all other programs.
- Admission of candidates will be canceled, even during the study period, if they are found to have submitted false information, have been recommended for foreign study, have not fulfilled the service obligation as per Section 38(1) of the National Medical Education Act, 2075, or were previously admitted under government/free quotas.
- Candidates studying free of cost in public educational institutions must mandatorily sign an agreement as per Schedule 6 related to Rule 22(1) of the National Medical Education Regulations (with amendments), 2077, and fulfill the specified conditions.
- If seats remain vacant after the deadline of the first admission list under the open category, a re-matching process will be conducted. This will include candidates who were not listed in the first admission list and those who were listed but did not enroll, based on the remaining merit order, prioritizing higher-ranked institutions.
- The matching results can be viewed on the Commission’s website as well as through the candidate’s individual profile.
