The Directorate of Education and Social Development, Lumbini Province, has published this notice to inform that under the approved annual budget and program for the fiscal year 2081/082, there is a program to provide scholarships to Freed Kamaiya, Kamlari, Muslim, and Dalit community female students currently studying in Grade 11 and 12 in community schools within Lumbini Province.
Concerned schools are requested to issue a public notice and collect applications from students within 30 days of the publication of this notice. The schools must verify the received applications and the following documents, certify them, and submit a consolidated report to the respective Social Development Division Office within 5 days after the application deadline expires.
Documents to be Submitted:
- Student's Application Letter.
- For the Grade 12 scholarship, a copy of the Grade 11 certificate, and for the Grade 11 scholarship, a copy of the SEE certificate.
- Recommendation from the concerned school stating the student is admitted, studying regularly, and has more than 70% attendance.
- For Freed Kamaiya or Kamlari scholarship: Certified copy of recommendation or certificate issued by the government body.
- For Muslim and Marginalized scholarship: Recommendation letter/certificate issued by the relevant government body stating inclusion in that specific caste/group.
- For Dalit scholarship: Must be listed in the National Dalit Commission.
- A recommendation letter from the concerned school stating that the student has not received a scholarship from any other source.
- Name of the bank where the student has an account, address, and account number (Photocopy of the bank cheque).
