Tribhuvan University's Institute of Forestry (TU, IoF) has released a clarification notice outlining the scholarship criteria for students applying for admission to its various MSc programs for the academic year 2082 .
The notice aims to provide clear information to candidates who have filled out application forms for admission under TU IoF.
Key Scholarship Provisions
- Quota: Scholarships will be awarded to 10% of the total students enrolled in each MSc program at every respective campus or school.
- Minimum Enrollment: A scholarship will only be provided if the specific program has a minimum enrollment of more than five students.
Basis for Scholarship Distribution
The selection process for awarding the scholarship is semester-based:
- First Semester: The scholarship will be granted based on the obtained marks in the entrance examination.
- Following Semesters (Second and Third): Scholarship recipients will be determined by the result of their last semester's examination.
- Fourth Semester (Final Semester): This semester's scholarship will be given to the student who achieves the highest mark in the third semester and who also commits to submitting their thesis within six months while studying in the fourth semester.
