Gokarneshwor Light Academy

Established in 2064 B.S., Gokarneshwor Light Academy (GLA) is a community-based private secondary school located in the serene environment of Gokarneshwar Municipality, Kathmandu district, within Bagmati Province. Nestled near the peaceful Gokarna Forest, the school has grown into a respected educational institution, serving over 700 students with the dedication of around 25 teaching and non-teaching staff.

GLA offers classes from Early Childhood Development (ECD) to Grade 10 in English medium, with a strong emphasis on value-based education. Guided by the theme “Value Education for Creativity,” the school integrates moral values such as filial piety, loyalty, benevolence, righteousness, and justice into its academic curriculum.
