Martyrs Memorial Public Health Co-operative society Limited (M-Co)/Sahid Smarak Janaswastha Sahakari Sanstha was established in 2006 with a vision to provide quality health care services at affordable price to the needy people.

Martyrs Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (MMIST) is a technical college established by Martyrs Memorial Public Health Co-operative Society Limited and managed by group of professionals from different walks of life. MMIST offers courses on PCL Nursing, Certificate in Diagnostic Radiography, Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Pharmacy, PCL in General Medicine (H.A), and TSLC in Medical laboratory Technology (Laboratory Assistant) with the affiliation from CTEVT.  The team of professionals involved in the Management includes Doctors, Nurses, Academicians, Administrative Professionals and Businessmen and Social Workers who strongly believe that Technical Education has the power to build the "New Nepal"

In order to prepare and fulfill the demand of qualified paramedic health professionals, it has launched academic course affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) under its sister organization: Martyrs Memorial Institution of Science and Technology (MMIST) since 2008.
