Shree Nepal Rastriya Chandraganga Madhyamik Vidhyalaya

Shree Nepal Rastriya Chandraganga Madhyamik Vidhyalaya is a government-run educational institution located in Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet, Nepal. Established in 1973 AD, the school currently serves around 900 students from Pre-primary to Grade 12. It provides co-educational learning opportunities and has earned recognition as a community-focused school committed to quality education for all, especially students from underprivileged backgrounds.

The school was founded with the vision of offering accessible education to children from economically disadvantaged families who cannot afford private school fees. In 2018, Nepal Rastriya Chandraganga Secondary School received the International School Award under the Connecting Classrooms Program of the British Council, acknowledging its commitment to global learning standards.

Shree Nepal Rastriya Chandraganga Madhyamik Vidhyalaya proudly serves students from diverse racial, religious, and linguistic communities across Surkhet and neighboring districts such as Dailekh, Jajarkot, Jumla, Humla, and Kalikot. Since 2010, the school has adopted English as the medium of instruction, making it the only public school in Karnali Province to do so.
