Physical Education (PE) Teacher (Secondary Level)
Job Description
- Design and implement physical education lesson plans that promote fitness, teamwork, and skill development appropriate for Primary through to Secondary students.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate health and wellness topics into a comprehensive school curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities, including sports, gymnastics, and athletics, that facilitate active and inclusive learning experiences.
- Coordinate with department heads to organize and manage school-wide sporting events, field days, and inter-school competitions.
- Assess and improve student physical progress and understanding of sportsmanship and health theory.
Job Specification
- Experience: More than or equal to 1 year
- Minimum Bachelor's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Education, or a related field.
- Appropriate teaching credentials and specialized certifications in coaching or physical fitness.
- Previous experience in teaching PE at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of adolescent physical development.
- Some Proficiency in the English language for effective instruction and reporting.
- Knowledge in lesson planning, sports psychology, and varied educational strategies for diverse learners.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and office software for grading and administrative tasks.
