Note: In accordance with the order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court on 2079/10/24 regarding Writ No. 078-WO-0660 and similar petitions, the positions will be filled according to the necessary legal provisions concerning inclusive groups.
1. Required Minimum Qualification:
a. Assistant Director, Open (Economics): Must have secured first, second, or third place in the Bachelor's degree in Economics from a native university.
b. Assistant Director, Open (Management): Must have secured first, second, or third place in the Bachelor's degree in Management from a native university.
c. Assistant Director (Open, Female, A.J., Madeshi, Dalit, Disabled, Underprivileged Group): Must have passed a Bachelor's degree in Economics or Management/Public Administration from a recognized university.
d. Assistant Director (Accounting/Auditing): Must have passed the Charted Accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA) examination from a recognized national and international Charted Accountant institution
e. Assistant Director (Commercial Law): Must have passed the Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university, OR must have passed the Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, or Public Administration and also passed the Bachelor's degree in Law.
f. Assistant (Assistant Second Class): Must have passed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination or an equivalent examination after completion of ten or grade 12 from a recognized educational institution. Only candidates who have completed the preliminary eligibility examination and received a certificate for the posts of Office Assistant Third Class Kharidar, or equivalent Fourth Class under the integrated examination system conducted by the Public Service Commission on B.S. 2082/07/15 or organized institutions are eligible to submit an application. This certificate must be compulsorily submitted within one year of appointment as an Assistant (Assistant Second Class) in the Administration Service.
2. Basis for Inclusiveness: Candidates applying under the inclusive group must submit the certificate issued by the relevant authority for Adibasi Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, Disabled, and Backward group.
3. Salary, Allowances, and Benefits: As per the rules of the bank.
4. Age Limit:
a. For the post of Assistant Director, the minimum age must be 21 years complete and the maximum age must not exceed 35 years by the last date of application submission Poush 10, 2082. For female candidates, the maximum age must not exceed 40 years by the last date of application submission Poush 10, 2082.
b. For the post of Assistant , the minimum age must be 18 years complete and the maximum age must not exceed 35 years by the last date of application submission Poush 10, 2082. For female candidates, the maximum age must not exceed 40 years by the last date of application submission Poush 10, 2082.
c. The age limit for existing staff of this Bank who are applying will not be a barrier.
5. Examination Type
- Candidates for Advertisement Nos.13/2082,14/2082 and 15/2082 will be selected through a Preliminary Eligibility Test , Subjective Written Examination, and Interview.
- Candidates for Advertisement Nos. 16/2082,17/2082 and 18/20582 will be selected through a Written Examination and Interview.
- The written examination for Advertisement Nos. 13/2082,14/2082 and 15/2082 will be conducted through a Joint Examination System.
- For posts requiring a Preliminary Eligibility Test, only candidates who pass the Preliminary Eligibility Test will be included in the Subjective Written Examination.
- Only candidates who pass the Written Examination will be included in the Interview.
6. Examination Center and Operation
- The Preliminary Eligibility Test and Subjective Written Examination for Advertisement Nos. 13/2082, 14/2082 and 15/2082 , and the Subjective Written Examination for Advertisement Nos. 16/2082 and 17/2082 will be conducted by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) in Kathmandu.
- The Subjective Written Examination for Advertisement No. 18/2082 will be conducted by the Public Service Commission in Dhankuta, Jaleshwor, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet and Dipayal as decided by the office.
- Interviews for all advertisements will be conducted by the Bank's Central Office.

8. Probation Period: 6 months for female employees and 1 year for male employees.
9. Pension Eligibility: Pension shall be based on a contribution-based system.
10. Examination Fee:
- For Officer Third Class Officers: Rs. 1,000 for any one group, and an additional Rs. 400 (Four Hundred Rupees) for participation in each additional group.
- For Assistant Second Class: Rs. 800 (Eight Hundred Rupees) for any one group, and an additional Rs. 300 (Three Hundred Rupees) for participation in each additional group.
- The examination fee for applicants whose applications are rejected due to insufficient procedure will not be refunded.
11. Procedure for Paying Examination Fee: Must be paid through the payment service provider available on the portal when submitting the application form electronically.
12. Placement (Posting): Employees appointed under Advertisement No. 18/082 will be posted in the Bank's Provincial Offices. Employees appointed under other advertisements will be posted in the Central Office or Provincial Offices as per the Bank's needs.
13. Contact Date for Written Examination: The notice regarding the written examination will be published later by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog).
