About Us

Langarche Secondary School is a public school located in Ward No. 8 of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok district. Established in 2017 BS, the school is named after the former Langarche Village Panchayat. Initially, it began classes for grades 1 to 5 in the veranda of the founding headmaster Yagya Prasad Dhital's home, as there was no dedicated building at that time.

With the collective efforts of local community members, including founding chairman Dandapani Dhital and others, a permanent building was later constructed at Mukhiyako Bari in Ward No. 7. The school gradually expanded, receiving permission to add classes 6 and 9 in 2050 BS and 2065 BS, respectively. Today, it offers education from Early Childhood Development (ECD) to class 12, serving approximately 250 students from the Tamang, Chhetri, and other local communities who travel from areas such as Aage, Kotgaun, Sole, and Lapse.

The school employs 16 teachers, including headmaster Rammani Dhital and five others who are former students of the institution. It operates in three permanent buildings that were reconstructed after the 2072 BS earthquake and is equipped with both science and computer laboratories. Classes 11 and 12 were introduced with funds collected during a Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah in 2073 BS, enabling local students to pursue higher secondary education without leaving their homes.
